Books: Para Kay B (O Kung Paano Dinevastate ng Pag-ibig ang 4 out of 5 sa atin) ni Ricky Lee

I googled different reviews about this book that I think expresses how I feel about it too.

"made me thought that the ending could be more interesting,"

"a very visual novel, replete with full fleshing out of the 5 female characters and descriptive passages that lend color, smell, taste to the world these 5 women move in."
-gilbert yap tan

"This is something that I did enjoy while reading this book: the metafictional aspect-the awareness of the characters that they are characters, the actualization of the process of a writer as he creates his characters.
However, the point when Lucas, the writer, started rhapsodizing about the difficulties writers face as they bring their characters to life, I felt that the real writer, Lee, might have been getting a bit self-indulgent. Yes, I like metafiction, but not particularly when it reads like the writer begging the reader to understand what he goes through."

So yeah, it wasn't as good as I heard it was. The third story and the ending (the real-real ending) was too dragging for me. I like the other stories though, that makes it 4 out 5 . No irony intended ah haha.

Here's Gina Alajar reading one of my fave part.
